It is important to speak up for what you think is important, but when there is no way for your voice to reach others, it doesn’t matter how loud you scream. Finding a space which offers you a way to express and connect with others is irreplaceable, and that is what Troora’s platform means to me. ‘Motherland Journeys’ is one of my favourite articles I’ve written for Troora. This article gave me the platform to talk about something personal and important to me, while exploring how the journeys we take in life can take on so many meanings.
If I could press one button and change something in the world, I would make it so that there is no such thing as the ultra-rich. There is no need for billionaires in this world if we want a future. My favourite drink is Cola Zero. It feels like stars on my tongue. The emoji I use the most is the muscle emoji - . Feels like saying ‘you can do it’ (or ‘I can do it’) in emoji form.
